Prices use EarthMC's 16 gold per chunk (you can change it in Settings)
EarthMC gives a town 12 chunks per resident, plus its nation bonus.
When another town merges into yours (/t merge), your town pays 128 gold + 8 per chunk it brings.
Towns founded, fallen, and everything that moved between a recorded day and right now.

Answers come from a small AI and can be wrong โ double-check anything important in game. Your question (and, for town tips, your town's public numbers) goes to the Toolkit's server and isn't saved with anything about you. Answers to general questions are reused for a few hours, and ๐/๐ only adds to a count.
No โ EarthMC Toolkit is a free fan project. It reads EarthMC's public data and map; it isn't run by or connected to the EarthMC staff.
No. You just type your Minecraft name on the Profile tab. Nothing asks for a password, ever โ if something does, it isn't us.
Settings โ Alerts: turn on notifications, then background alerts. Install the Toolkit (โฌ Install app) for the most reliable alerts on phones.
Set your Minecraft name on the Profile tab. If you just joined or created a town, give the claim data a few minutes โ tap the ๐ pill at the top to refresh.
Pick when to hear about it in Settings โ Alerts. You also get a second alert at 100 votes and a "hop on now" last call at 50, so there's time to get online before it fires.
It proves the Minecraft name is yours: you put a short code in /res set about and the Toolkit checks it. Never type someone else's code. If anyone tricks you into it, just verify again and they're out.
16 gold per chunk (16ร16 blocks). On the map, use the Select tool to drag a box โ it shows how many chunks are free and what they cost.
Each resident lets the town claim 12 chunks (if they've been on in the last 42 days). Being in a nation adds a bonus for every town โ up to +100 chunks in big nations. Scout โ Find a nation to join shows each open nation's bonus.
Scout โ "Find a town to join" lists open towns near you with an active mayor; tap /t join to copy the command. You can also start your own with /t new <name> (64 gold).
Only if your town is overclaimed โ more chunks than its limit (12 per active resident plus any nation bonus). Then other towns can claim your edge chunks. Profile โ your town's to-do list warns you when that happens.
EarthMC lets players hide from the live map, and "last seen" is when they last logged in. The Friends tab asks the server directly, so it's the most up to date.
Only if none of its residents log in for 42 days. A mayor who is away 42 days loses the town. There's no daily rent. The Toolkit warns you about towns close to falling.
Mostly: it keeps the last claim data it downloaded, so the map and tables still open. Live things (who's online, alerts) need a connection.
A small AI model run on Cloudflare, given EarthMC's main rules, how the Toolkit works and, when you ask about them, live numbers like players online and votes left to the vote party. It remembers the question just before, so you can follow on ("how do I join it?") โ โจ New chat starts over. It's handy for quick "how do Iโฆ" questions but can be wrong โ check anything important in game (/t ? and /n ? list the real commands), and tap ๐ or ๐ to say how it did. If it can't be reached, the closest answers from this FAQ show instead.
Add them in game with /res friend add <name> and set your name on the Profile tab. Then the Friends tab shows who's on, Home shows how many, town cards say where they live, and "๐ฅ Friends only" on the map shows where they are.
