Official costs

Myth busted — there is no daily upkeep per chunk on Terra Nostra. The only recurring costs are opt-in: town warps (1g/day each) and letting outsiders spawn (5g/day). Towns fall to ruin from inactivity, not from rent.

          How the risk score works — a town is overclaimable exactly when it holds more chunks than its limit (12 × residents + nation bonus). Ruined, for-sale, nation-less, tiny or broke towns all push the score up. To overclaim you must be older than 30 days, and the target's homeblock is always safe.
